A cattleman’s daughter
The boys are practicing their lassos on the pig. They proudly parade
around with their ‘snared’ pig, just like the men with
their cattle. Maybris comes along with the saddle, she always
is one to up the ante and manages to get on and ride the pig
but not for long. She is a wild child, when she is not pestering
the farm animals or fighting her brothers, she is climbing some-thing
– the chicken coop, a fence or one of the highest trees. |
